Before setting off for places far from the center such as Villa Jovis and Villa Lysis, we recommend you check if the sites are open at the tourist information office in the Piazzetta or at the port of Marina Grande.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance for the Gardens of Augustus and Villa Lysis. It isn't possible to buy tickets in advance for the Blue Grotto; they must be purchased on site at the time of entry.
